Edgebrook Counseling specializes in individual, group therapy and psychoeducational training specifically addressing problems associated with a range of mental health issues to include but not limited to anger, anxiety, depression, relationships, adjustment to life changes and emotional regulation. The approach is non-traditional and aims to have an immediate impact on participants ability to gain self-control. All therapy sessions are facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and certified NAMA II Anger Management Specialist.
What to Expect: Individual therapy meetings are based upon the client and therapist's availability.
The group meets bi-weekly and is available to males ages 18 and up. Participants are provided an initial self-report screening tool that is utilized to measure progress. Each session has a theme preselected by the facilitator. Following a brief opening presentation, the group facilitator provides time for guided group member "check ins," in which real life examples are worked through using a range of theoretical interventions to support each participant.
